My name is Alex Lau. I am born and raised in Hong Kong 🇭🇰. I received my undergraduate (Actuarial Science) and master (Data Science) degree at The University of Hong Kong. I am currently a Software Engineer at Aicadium. Before that, I was an AI Software Engineer at Pencil.
In my free time, I like reading papers, blogging 📓, contributing to open-source projects, coding on Kaggle 👨💻 and running 🏃. I love collaborations with like-minded researchers and data professionals on interesting side projects related to Machine Learning or Quantitative Trading.
